Remuneration Survey

Keep track of remuneration trends in New Zealand accounting

The annual Remuneration Survey is the leading source of remuneration trends in the New Zealand accounting profession.

This year’s online survey will be conducted by research company Colmar Brunton who will ensure that the results are independent and do not identify individual respondents.

If you’re approached to take part, the survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and your response will be treated in the strictest confidence. Survey results will be presented in summary form only, eliminating any identification of individual responses.

While the organisation is in transition we have decided to maintain our focus on New Zealand members for the 2014 survey and will review the process for a larger survey next year.

Thank you in advance for your participation, we look forward to sharing the results with you.

2013 Remuneration Survey

The 2013 findings were based on the responses of over 8,600 members.

The overall theme in 2013 remuneration was a steady rise for Chartered Accountants, the average package including bonuses was over $140,000.

The 2013 results showed there was still a gap in remuneration relating to gender. These findings again highlighted the opportunity to consider the implications for your organisation and the profession as a whole.
